So, what's a Scribbler I hear you cry! A scribbler is an artist. So why would you hire one? Well, maybe so they can do a commission for you. And what's a commission you whisper! A commission is a personally requested piece of art rather than something mass produced. Now with that out of the way, if you would like to commission me, please see details below:

[What I Draw]
If unsure whether I will draw what you want, ask - but for most parts the list below covers what I will do.

[The Medium I use]
Pencil sketches (sharp or soft)
Cleaned images (inked)
Colour (Prisma color pencils - no CG or paint)
Additional Mediums - gel pens, felt pens, food dye




[Rules to Commissions]
I have the right to accept or decline a commission
I will not draw copyrighted characters unless you have written permission from the original creator
I reserve the right to keep a copy of the image for my portfolio and to use it on my website (all personal copyright details will remain in tact)
The artwork is for personal use only (unless it is specified it will be used as a corporate/sports logo etc)
The art is not to be resold, copied, traced, altered or redistributed
I reserve the right to cancel a commission if I find your behaviour / attitude insulting, abusive, pushy or demanding
I rarely do backgrounds if you require one, let me know in advance
Commissioning me means you have read all the details regarding commission rules, procedures etc and that you accept.
Commissions are NOT for resale. They are for the buyer, or as a gift for someone the buyer knows
All signatures & copyright information is to remain on the commission - including electronic copies
No alterations are allowed to be made on the commission or its electronic copy




[Postage]
Originals can be sent out however there will be a shipping charge
All artwork sent out is posted in either stiffened packaging or postage tubes (depending on size)




[Payment]
Payment must be made upfront
I do not give refunds
All payment must be through Paypal
All payment must be in GBP




[The Procedure]
The list below explains how this works - this elevates stress on both sides

An invoice will be sent to you with all charges
Client pays
First draft sketch is drawn and sent to client
At this, client has opportunity to make one set of changes
Image is cleaned, inked, coloured (base) and sent to client
At this, client has opportunity to make last set of changes (to colour ONLY)
Image is finalised, emailed / posted etc
Transaction complete.




[Time Limit]
Below are the time limit regarding commissions, these are all over-shots to give me wiggle room. Most commissions are finished well under these deadlines.
1 month for an A4 inked / sketch
2 months for an A4 full colour
3 months for an A4 including background
4-5 months for an A3 commission




[Prices]
There will be no hidden charges, all prices will be given before payment is accepted. The costs below are vague as they are merely an outline. Most prices will depend on the complexity of the image you require. If in doubt, ask.

These prices are based on single character imagery (no background remember!) on A4 paper. Examples given
Sketch - £2 - £5 - [example to follow]

Please note I do A5, A4 & A3 images - pricing will vary with these. For those who purchase A4 commissions, you have the option to get the image laminated for a small additional cost.
